Environmental Policy statement 2026
This is the Environmental Policy statement for LDN Project Services ltd.
At LDN we take our Environmental responsibilities very seriously and strive to minimize the impact of our activities. We are committed to pollution prevention and protection of the environment in all our activities.
As Director, I Thomas Lecky am ultimately responsible for Environmental management in LDN Project Services. Environmental Management is a responsibility that I insist all members of staff & sub-contractors follow. Each individual is accountable for all aspects of Environmental Management in their area of operation / work within the business.
Working with our clients we provide our people the right information, advice and training so they are fully aware of their responsibilities and are competent to undertake their activities. We use the channels of communication to encourage all employees and their representatives to contribute to improvements in our Environmental performance. We use tool box talks & internal emails to pass on our objectives to help us improve our performance. We measure and report environmental performance on a regular, consistent and meaningful basis so we can continue improving. We review this policy every year, or when there are significant changes to the business.
Our Goals
• Consistently increase the awareness and provide necessary training to all our employees and customers to ensure environmentally responsible concepts are integrated into their normal working practices.
• Demonstrate control of all our operations and ensure that all are performed with due consideration of the environment.
• Identify and mitigate against potential accidents that could result in an environmental impact, so that if an accident did occur the consequences would be minimised.
• Use products that have a negligible environmental impact, where appropriate options exist.
• Minimise the storage and use of all articles and substances, where appropriate.
• Reduce the consumption of resources (energy, materials, packaging), where feasible.
• Minimise waste through a commitment to reuse, recover or recycle, where feasible.
It is our duty to ensure that good environmental management is practised in all contracts and projects that we are involved in, and we will seek to influence customers to demonstrate a positive environmental commitment.
We will endeavour to communicate the Environmental Policy to all LDN staff, and it will be freely available to Clients and the general public.
Thomas Lecky (Managing Director for LDN Project services ltd)
